After first use:
I noticed a difference. It was enough of a difference for me to continue using for a week and the choice to continue its use was worth it. I use it for 20 minutes and don’t eat for 20 minutes (I know I’m bending the rules).
It helped me create a better routine to keep good oral hygiene:
I find myself brushing and flossing way more than before because I don’t want to lose the white shine ismile helped me achieve. Because of this, my oral hygiene has improved greatly and I even feel better about myself.
Gum and teeth sensitivity:
I had some gum and teethe sensitivity for the first 2 runs. They do supply blue liquid that can help reduce such issues within the box but I decided to deal with it two times to see if the issue would go away and it did.
Comfort:
takes few uses to get comfortable with the mouthpiece. After that, it has been easy and comfortable to use.
Saliva:
Saliva does build up while having this in for 20 minutes but it’s not a bother. It’s like the mouthpiece was design to keep any Saliva from leaking out.
There is no flavor with the gel which is great.

I’ve attached pictures that I’ve taken every day using a controlled light to try to get a more accurate picture of progress. It’s fairly easy to use but a little difficult to control the amount that you put on. Certainly using a q-tip applicator to paint your teeth controls the amount you use more than just squeezing it into the mouth guard. Putting it on directly to your teeth will ensure that it gets within the gaps as well. The pictures above I’ve actually hit the button three times to give me 30 minutes of treatment each day. These pictures were taken after the 30-minute treatment brushing my teeth and as I wrote with a controlled lighting source. I do believe they look actually better than the pictures but this would at least give me a record of what is actually happening. To try and accelerate the process I’ve used whitening strips every one to two days to try and accelerate the process. I would usually use the whitening strip in the morning for about 30 minutes every couple of days and then the iSmile system at night. This is certainly been good not to let my teeth feel too sensitive.

This actually works and gives you a whiter smile after only a few tines of use. I have a mouth tray that was molded by my dentist which I believe helped tremendously and I didn’t use the mouth tray provided. I think if you use a mouth guard that you can mold yourself at home, you’ll probably get better results also. I ensured my tray was dry and my teeth were dry before applying the gel right in my tray and putting it in my mouth. Then I inserted the LED light and used for 20 minutes and the effects were noticeable after only a couple of uses. No sensitivity so far after several uses, but I will try out the mineralization gel if I do get sensitivity. Overall, I’m very happy with the results and the price, much more affordable than getting it done at the dentist’s office.

After I used it according to directions and it didn’t work very well, I read the reviews. Like many others said, the lightning tray that comes with the kit doesn’t work very well. It’s large, hard plastic, not moldable and did not fit my teeth. After I purchased a separate moldable tray and used it instead of the tray provided, I got great results. I’m not sure why the manufacturer can’t provide a moldable tray with this product.

I used it a few months back and didn’t really realize how well it worked until I was looking back at some pictures I took and comparing them to the pictures now. Shades on shades on shades whiter, looked great. Did it for about a week, think I used the recommended amount, but for 15-20 minutes each time.
Could be difficult to use if your teeth don’t fit in the mold, it just so happened that the mold was very similar to my mouth shape and was applied well and evenly to all my teeth. I just put the gel on the rubber mold thing and popped it in my mouth.
Absolutely recommend. Will be doing it again within the next couple weeks before I go back to school in the spring!
